  • Artificial intelligence is reshaping the world of work, and for young people entering the job market, the stakes are especially high. This session will bring together leaders from across sectors to explore what it means to prepare the next generation of leaders for an AI-driven world. Panelists will examine the growing demand for human skills like critical thinking, communication, and adaptability, what upskilling strategies are proving effective, reshaping entry-level jobs, and what educators, employers, and practitioners can do to ensure students are ready to compete and thrive.

Peter Eastwood
CEO, President, Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance

Peter Eastwood is President and Chief Executive Officer, Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, a position he has held since joining Berkshire Hathaway in April 2013. Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway, Peter was employed by American International Group (AIG), where he began his career in the insurance industry in 1991 as an underwriter. At AIG, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of AIG’s property casualty businesses in the Americas. Peter also previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lexington Insurance Company, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AIG.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master’s in business administration degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Ohio Wesleyan University.
