Making Career Everyone’s Business: Integrating Career Across the Student Experience

Dr. Kedra Ishop leads efforts that engage, support, deepen relationships with, and mobilize College Board members to broadly advance access, opportunity, and future career success for students. Working with constituents across K–12 and higher education, she directs the organization’s work with higher education partners. She and her higher education, financial aid, and membership teams ensure that the College Board meets the needs of its diverse member institutions and the students they serve. As secretary of the organization, she oversees all matters relating to its governance structure and Board of Trustees.

Kedra has spent her entire career in higher education. She began her career at the University of Texas at Austin before joining the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. Kedra joined the College Board after serving as vice president for enrollment management at the University of Southern California. Throughout her career, she has advanced a student-centered vision while overseeing offices of admission, financial aid, orientation and first-year programs, enrollment marketing and communications, and the registrar.
Kedra is a nationally recognized expert, speaker, and advisor on higher education issues, with expertise in access and opportunity for low-income students and students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds; recruitment and enrollment practices; legal and policy issues in admissions and enrollment; and assessment and curriculum development. She has served and continues to serve on numerous boards and organizations that support student access, educational policy, and student success. She holds three degrees from the University of Texas at Austin: a BA in sociology, an MEd in higher education administration, and a PhD in educational administration. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two sons.

Anne Erni serves as Chief People Officer at Audible, leading global people strategy and workplace experience across the company’s global hubs. Since joining in 2016, she has transformed Audible’s talent ecosystem and integrated People Principles throughout the employee journey. Previously, as Head of Human Resources at Bloomberg L.P., she created the company’s first Global Leadership Forum and scaled the organization during significant growth. At Lehman Brothers, Anne served as Managing Director and Chief Diversity Officer while bringing 15 years of P&L experience from trading desk and corporate finance roles. She holds BA and MA degrees in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.

Keisha M. Bell is the Global Head of the Office of Black Affairs at JPMorgan Chase, where she leads the firm’s global strategy to advance and support the Black community and its allies as part of the company’s Diversity, Opportunity & Inclusion commitment. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services and human capital, she is a recognized leader in product strategy, risk management, talent development, and inclusive leadership.

Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Keisha served as Managing Director and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at DTCC, where she led global talent development, DEI innovation, ESG, and corporate social responsibility initiatives, launching award-winning programs that advanced women’s leadership and inclusive workplace practices.

A sought-after speaker and industry advisor, Keisha has been recognized on Diversity Woman Magazine’s Elite 100, Diversity Global’s Top 15 Champions of Diversity, and the World Federation of Exchanges Women Leaders List. She has also contributed thought leadership to Forbes, HR Magazine, FinTech Futures, and other leading publications.

Kate joined Bridgewater in 2017 and is currently the Head of Macro & Policy Research and a Partner at the firm. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing and evolving Bridgewater’s estimates of growth, inflation, and their impact on global policy. Kate works closely with Bridgewater Associates’ co-CIOs and regularly shares her insights in the Bridgewater Daily Observations.

In 2023, Kate was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 – Finance list, and was a 2024 Millenium Fellow at the Atlantic Council. Prior to joining Bridgewater, she studied English Literature at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge.
