Kate joined Bridgewater in 2017 and is currently the Head of Macro & Policy Research and a Partner at the firm. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing and evolving Bridgewater’s estimates of growth, inflation, and their impact on global policy. Kate works closely with Bridgewater Associates’ co-CIOs and regularly shares her insights in the Bridgewater Daily Observations.
In 2023, Kate was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 – Finance list, and was a 2024 Millenium Fellow at the Atlantic Council. Prior to joining Bridgewater, she studied English Literature at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge.
Tony Allen is the Chief Executive Officer of Delaware State University, one of the nation’s most diverse contemporary HBCUs. Since taking office, he has led the growth of the university’s academic, research, and community impact initiatives, serving more than 6,000 students globally.
Before joining DSU, Tony built a distinguished career in public service, communications, and corporate leadership, including serving as a speechwriter for then-U.S. Senator Joe Biden and later leading communications and corporate reputation efforts at Bank of America.
In 2020, Tony served as CEO of the 59th Presidential Inaugural and later chaired the President’s Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. A nationally recognized civic and education leader, he has received numerous honors for advancing racial equity, education, and public leadership.
Tony holds degrees from the University of Delaware and Baruch College and is a proud husband and father of five.
