As Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Career Advancement at the University of Chicago, Meredith Daw directly manages undergraduate career services and serves as a member of the leadership team for undergraduate admissions and financial aid. During her tenure, the College has increased the number of paid internships from 177 in 2007 to 4,400+ today, expanded the University’s employer network to 1,300+ organizations around the world, and created 12 specialized preprofessional programs to prepare students for careers in specific industries. Meredith holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. From 2018-2019, Meredith served as an appointed member of the Illinois Board of Higher Education.
